School Visits Lines Branch of Beijing Subway Operation Co., Ltd. to Expand Employment Opportunities

On July 16, Feng Shaojie, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Civil Engineering, and Deng Jingjing, career counselor, visited the Lines Branch of Beijing Subway Operation Co., Ltd. The visit aimed to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation and expand employment opportunities for graduates.

During the meeting, Deputy General Manager Liu Wei introduced the company’s development, job structure, and recruitment needs in recent years. He also outlined the daily operation and maintenance of Beijing Subway lines and the application of intelligent inspection technologies. Feng Shaojie introduced the School’s academic programs, talent cultivation strengths, and graduate employment. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting the integration of industry, academia, and research. They also held detailed discussions on the recruitment of students expected to graduate in 2027.

The Lines Branch is an equipment services branch directly under Beijing Subway Operation Co., Ltd. It is mainly responsible for the inspection, maintenance, upgrading, and new-line handover of equipment and ancillary facilities across 16 Beijing Subway lines. The company plans to recruit more than 80 graduates from the Class of 2027.

The visit further strengthened cooperation between the School and the company, expanded employment opportunities for 2027 graduates, and laid a solid foundation for supporting high-quality graduate employment.
