On May 30, the School of Civil Engineering organized student volunteers to participate in the 2026 Shijingshan District Science Week public open day at the Shijingshan Humanoid Robot Data Training Center. To ensure the smooth implementation of volunteer services, the Student Party Branch of the Artificial Environment Engineering program and the School Youth League Committee conducted volunteer selection and training in advance.

During the public open day at the Training Center, the event introduced visitors to humanoid robot core technologies through sessions including the history of robotics, remote-operated data collection demonstrations, and hands-on humanoid robot exercises. Under the guidance and organization of the Training Center Product Manager Wu Hainan, the student volunteers, together with the staff, provided on-site explanations, guided visitors along the route, and maintained order for the attending citizens and primary and secondary school students.

The high-quality service provided by the volunteers fully demonstrated the strong sense of responsibility and exemplary spirit of our students. Participating in the volunteer activity also offered students close exposure to cutting-edge technology, allowing them to broaden their horizons, consolidate knowledge, and enhance practical skills.
