The 3rd Intelligent Construction Teaching Seminar and the 1st Young Faculty Teaching Competition in Intelligent Construction, hosted by the Professional Committee on Intelligent Construction of the China Machinery Industry Education Association, Hefei University of Technology, and Suzhou University of Science and Technology, was held in Suzhou from April 17 to 19, 2026. Dr. Liu Kang, a faculty member from NCUT’s School of Civil Engineering, won second prize in the competition.

The competition brought together 85 young faculty members from more than 60 universities. During the event, participants delivered confident and well-structured presentations, demonstrating teaching innovation in areas such as class instruction, experimental teaching and case-based teaching. The competition showcased the strong professional knowledge, forward-looking technical vision and outstanding teaching abilities of young faculty members in the field of intelligent construction. It also provided an important platform for young teachers in the discipline to present their work and grow professionally, contributing to the improvement of intelligent construction education nationwide and the development of young faculty teams.
